Our services are focused on Dutch companies and companies abroad who have plans for developing or extending export/import activities or establishing of joint activities cq. investments. In this respect, Agriment International advises and assists companies in (re-)developing their internationalization strategies, including mission statement and strategic orientation.
Agriment International can be hired to find and bring together Dutch and foreign partners for trade and/or investment projects. Thanks to our good international network and co-operation with local partners, we are in a good position to link foreign companies with Dutch equipment and service suppliers and trading partners, or vice versa. Once partners have decided to continue and formalize their co-operation, Agriment International can assist in the preparation and establishment of a Joint Venture.
Many project ideas for export and/or investments plans are not implemented because project partners are not able to overview and quantify the relevant risks and (financial) consequences. Agriment International can facilitate this decision making process, by realizing a feasibility or (pre-)investment study, resulting in a detailed business plan. Profitability, cash flow and sensitivity analyses are important elements in such business plans. Moreover, they are mostly designed as bankable reports, to be used for attracting external financing.
Often it is well possible to obtain financial support or subsidies from the Dutch Government to carry out feasibility and/or pre-investment studies. Throughout the years, Agriment International has acquired a great experience in writing and compiling project proposals for these subsidy applications Subsidy & Financing. We shall be gladly willing to discuss your project intentions and ideas, and to advise you how it could qualify for subsidy possibilities. This is free of charge and under specific conditions, Agriment International is willing to submit a subsidy application on a ‘no cure no pay’ basis.
Agriment International assists companies in attracting external funding from commercial banks and other financial institutions (EBRD, IFC, FMO, venture capital funds). Furthermore, Agriment International is very experienced in writing project proposals that qualify for funding by the Dutch Government. We are able to translate an initial project idea into a full project proposal -including work plan and budget- that meets the criteria set by the funding agency. Our experts are informed about the latest developments of the various subsidy and funding programs and are always prepared to explain and discuss the funding possibilities for your project ideas. A project often does not qualify for subsidy in its original set up, but a slightly different approach or project structure may considerably increase the chances for a positive evaluation by the funding agency.
Project proposals are developed according to the logical framework approach, enabling a continuous monitoring and verification of the project’s progress.

A service in which Agriment International BV distinguishes itself from the mere subsidy offices in the Netherlands, is project management & technical assistance. Obtaining subsidies or other financial support for the realization of a project is important, but ensuring that the project is implemented successfully, is even more important. Agriment International can provide project management and project co-ordination services, including reporting and invoicing to the funding agent. Furthermore, we can make available technical expertise, in addition to the expertise available with the project partners. For this purpose, we maintain a large network of contacts with experienced free-lance experts in nearly every relevant field of expertise in the agriculture- and food business. Furthermore, Agriment International has access to all major agricultural institutions in the Netherlands, and can call upon their expertise when necessary.
